This vase was thrown and decorated by Catherine Connett between 1973 and 1976. The shape is A8/1 - 7.5 inches high and 5.5in across at the top.

Very unusually for Atlantis, this has been thrown in black clay rather than red clay or stoneware. The glaze is a stunning speckled duck-egg, very similar to the seafoam glaze used around this period.

The vase is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches or blemishes.
