This is a wonderful early example of a shape 33 Poole Studio vase produced between 1962 and 1964.

It has been produced using the wax-resist method in a pattern of stripes on the middle section and stippled spots on the top. The glaze itself is both pink and gree at the same time and stands out perfectly against the black background.

On the inside of the neck a different technique has been used to produce a wonderful tortoise shell effect which adds to the interest.

The vase is in perfect condition and stands 4.5in tall by 4.5in wide. Interestingly the base has both the Studio TV stamp and the impressed TV Studio mark.
