This is a 10.5in Studio plate from 1964/6.

It is extremely difficult to photograph properly - please note that the photos for this plate have been taken with a flash and the plate darker than shown.

The plate has the brown and green glazes commonly associated with the studio plates (the white areas on the photos are actually green). While the glazes seem to be poured onto the plate, there is a pattern on a series of "U" shapes in black outline around a central eye. These are difficult to see without looking at an angle.

While the plate is in generally very good condition, there is a chip to the footrim at the back that can be seen in the last photo.
