This is a stunning one-off Studio Atlantis piece by Poole's Guy Sydenham.

The vase displays all the creativity that you would expect from a piece of his work. While the neck of the vase has been glazed in the trademark seafoam glaze that Guy used on studio pieces, the highlight of this vase is how he has treated the main body.

He has carved and impressed dots on the outside of the vase which he has then filled with a clear crystal glaze so that in the light each of the dots sparkles like a small droplet of water against the unglazed matt black body. It's a brilliant effect that is hard to capture in a photo but you can see it in the lower right section of the photos where it's catching the light coming in from the right.

The vase is 7 inches tall and in perfect condition. A stunning collectors piece.
