This is a wonderful example of the asymmetric vases that Colin Melbourne produced for Beswick. The range were considered too avant garde at the time and sold in low numbers making them rare and increasingly sought-after today.

This example is decorated in a striking and highly unusual trailed glaze and has sky blue glazing on the inside.

The vase is over 11 inches tall, has the Beswick stamps and is impressed with the code 1395. It is in perfect order with no chips, cracks or other damage.
